2018
In September, we were fortunate to travel to Santander Spain to participate in the Impact10 International Printmaking Conference. We each presented conference papers on our current research and art practice, and showcased a collaborative artwork Convergence, at La Central gallery. The conference had in excess of 400 hundred participants, travelling from all over the world to exhibit prints and discuss the latest research in the printmaking field. We were overwhelmed by the quality and quantity of artwork on show, and it was a great opportunity to network and exchange ideas with fellow printmakers and academics!
It was great to see excellence in traditional printmaking upheld, alongside radical new approaches to print in the expanded field. Exciting times ahead in the world of printmaking! We've included some documentation of our collaborative work, and a link to our catalogue essay by Dr Sheridan Coleman below.
